Breathing is the most natural thing for us and we therefore hardly pay any attention to it. Yet it can be worthwhile to take a closer look at breathing. How long can we live without breathing? Depending on how well trained we are, we can hold our breath for one or two minutes, but way less when we are under stress. And our breathing does so much more than simply keep us alive. Because HOW we breathe also has an influence on our body.

It took quite a while until running became a daily routine for me. At first, I made some typical mistakes, was in pain while running and had to take frequent breaks. Today, we are talking about how I still managed to make running a routine and I am going to give advice on how to run correctly right from the beginning.

Hello! I am Hans-Peter Becker, I was a professional musician and have now been an entrepreneur, author and life coach for 30 years.

In 2015, I launched my blog to help even more people improve their lives in a variety of areas. I focus on health and fitness, personal growth, children & parenting as well a learning and education to help them lead a more fulfilling life.

A fulfilled life is not something that can be taken for granted and nothing that happens by itself. I know this from personal experience. For a long time, I have lived a life where I neglected myself. I was constantly ill and often stressed. But in my mid-30s, I decided to change something. I have come a long way since then.

I have steadily expanded my own business. I have started to do sports consciously and to eat healthy food. I have dealt with the topics of self-management and time management in detail, attended seminars, read hundreds of books, did my MBA and extended my knowledge. As a single father, I have sought and found alternative ways to educate myself. And today, at almost 60 years of age, I feel fitter, more fulfilled and more self-determined than I did at 30. In fact, my cardio-vascular age is less than 30 at the moment and that is exactly how I feel.

I am convinced that we can all lead a fulfilled life. Because there is a potential in each of us that we can tap into through conscious decisions and changes in our lives and thus achieve more fulfillment and self-determination. And there are techniques, insights and experiences that help everyone on this path. The most important things are (correct) implementation, continuity and the development of willpower and stamina. 

On this blog and with my books, I would like to introduce people to these techniques, insights and experiences and help them find satisfaction and happiness.
