February 12, 2018 by Hans-Peter

musical taste and personality

Better together – how to unleash your full potential

December 18, 2017 by Hans-Peter

Standing at the bottom of a steep hill, a person will perceive the angle to be 20-30% steeper when they’re alone than when they’re with a friend. (“Social support and the perception of geographical slant” published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.) What does that tell us? Well, it tells us that things become […]

Music makes us smarter

music makes us smarter

Music is one of the greatest joys in life. Just try to imagine a world without it – a birthday without singing, a wedding held in silence or a sports game without your favourite tracks blasting in the background. It would probably be a sad and boring world. Music is beautiful, and most of us […]

Talent, it all starts with a passion

July 31, 2017 by Hans-Peter

no talent without passion

In this guest post, Sebastian Quirmbach, Modern Music School’s education director, busts the myth about ‘natural talent.’ Talent isn’t something God-given or fixed at birth, it’s a muscle we can grow with time and practice. Who doesn’t love success? We all connect success with joy, […]

About me

My goal is to bring happiness to you and your child's life. In times where anxiety and stress levels among children and youth are at an all-time high, I make it my mission to create a space for children to grow up as happy, emotionally-resilient and creative individuals. With real connections, friendship and play being replaced by television, tablets and iPhones, I provide children with opportunities to connect with peers, to form real friendships and to grow up as socially competent, responsible human beings.
